Beginning Sept. 12, the Troy Recreation Department will offer the YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program at the Troy Community Center.
During this 4-month program, participants will attend two 15-minute personalized consultations each month and attend monthly nutrition education seminars. Office hours for consultations are every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. – noon. This free program is designed to help individuals better manage hypertension and improve overall health. It is open to anyone 18 or older who has been diagnosed with high blood pressure. The seminars will be held on the 3rd Tuesday at 1 pm, and are open to everyone.
