CAR BREAK-INS ON THE RISE IN MACOMB – The Elan Estates neighborhood in Macomb Township is on high alert this week after a string of recent car break-ins has them concerned. Early Thursday morning last week, one male suspect was spotted on multiple surveillance cameras walking up to cars and checking doors. For many unfortunate residents, the thief got away with valuables including cash and firearms. Several neighbors filed a police report with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement is reminding residents to be vigilant and never keep valuables inside your vehicle.

TARGET CREEPER – Last Friday afternoon, Sterling Heights Police responded to a report that a suspicious man was taking photos of at least two women in the dressing room at Target, on Dequindre near Metro Parkway. Police say the women knew immediately what happened, got dressed and went looking for the man. The man reportedly went to his car in the parking lot and left quickly. The incident was captured on surveillance video. It happened Friday afternoon at the store. The suspect is a black male, bald, about 6 feet tall and was driving an older, white Chevy Equinox. Anyone with information is asked to call Sterling Heights Police at 586-446-2800.
