POLICE PATROL: Police looking for tool thief

ADDITIONAL CHARGES IN PURSUIT OUT OF CLINTON TOWNSHIP – On June 16 at approximately 2:50 p.m., Macomb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Dalcoma and 19 Mile Rd. to assist Clinton Township Police with a vehicle fleeing from officers. The vehicle had no license plate and had thrown an unknown object out of the window. The driver was later identified as Aniano Arreola-Mora, 27, out of Ray Township.

Macomb Sheriff Deputies located the vehicle on Garfield south of Hall Rd and joined the pursuit. The pursuit continued and a deputy became the lead vehicle. As the deputy was attempting to stop the vehicle from getting heading into oncoming traffic on eastbound 26 Mile Rd in the roundabout east of M-53, the suspect vehicle collided into the deputy vehicle twice. The chase continued with speeds near 90mph into Ray Township.

The suspect pulled into an address on Ray Center in Ray Township and drove through the grass towards the rear of the property causing damage. The vehicle came to a stop in a wooded area and Arreola-Mora fled on foot. Deputies and Clinton Township Officers followed Arreola-Mora and he was apprehended. No persons were injured during this incident.

In addition to charges issued from Clinton Township, he was also charged with fleeing, assault, and malicious destruction.

TOOL THIEF – Utica Police are looking for help in identifying the man in the picture below. “He seems to have an obsession with Milwaukee Tools from our local retailer,” police said in a post online.
