■ WHO DUMPS TRASH IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD? Be on the lookout for a newer model white Ford Explorer with one light colored decal in each lower corner of the back window. They are wanted for dumping automotive waste on Willow Grove — Square Lake Rd between Rochester Rd and John R Rd.

■ THIS WILL MAKE YOUR HEART STOP. A Red Oak Drive resident was contacted by the Internal Revenue Service regarding unreported income during the year 2016. The victim discovered unknown suspect(s) used his identity to file for and receive $5,792 worth of unemployment insurance. The victim did not give anyone permission to do such and does not know how his personal information was compromised.

■ DON’T SEND MONEY, GO SEE THE POLICE. A Julian Street resident was contacted by American Express advising that unknown suspect(s) applied for a fraudulent account in his name. The victim also advised that his Facebook account was hacked into and an unknown suspect contacted him, referred to himself as a “Master Hacker” and demanded $5,000 from him or he would send embarrassing information about the victim to his wife. The victim did not give anyone permission to open an account in his name and does not know how his personal information nor how his Facebook page was compromised.

■ DO NOT INVITE THIS PERSON TO DINNER AGAIN. HE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. Benihana’s business manager reports that a large group was paying their bill when one of the subjects attempted to pay with a fraudulent credit card. The suspect gave his friend the credit card to pay the bill and left. The card was denied and one of the members of the party covered the cost of the remaining balance owed.

■ CAN YOU SAY CAREER CRIMINAL? An unknown male came into Macy’s at Oakland Mall and stole $115.93 worth of merchandise that was for sale inside the store. The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old male from Detroit when he was arrested for a similar crime at Club Monaco located in the Somerset Collection – South on August 27. Macy’s Loss Prevention Officer wishes to seek criminal charges against the suspect for Retail Fraud – 3rd Degree through the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.

■ WHEELS AND RIMS STOLEN – A Lakeshore Drive resident discovered unknown suspect(s) stole the wheels and rims to his gray 2016 Ford Explorer while the vehicle was parked in his driveway. The vehicle was left atop landscaping blocks and the lug nets were nowhere to be found.

■ ANOTHER ONE – A Shoreline Drive discovered unknown suspect(s) stole the wheels and rims to his silver 2017 Lincoln MKZ while the vehicle was parked in his driveway. The vehicle was left atop landscaping blocks. He also discovered damage to the steering column and ignition to his gray 2004 GMC Yukon which was parked in his driveway as well.
